Many of you have been part of this journey for years, praying and encouraging and caring for our family during our adoption and during the writing of Redeeming Ruth: Everything Life Takes, Love Restores. Others are new. I am writing to thank ALL of you for your love, prayers and support.
Today, Monday, May 1st, is the official release day of my memoir!
We invite you to celebrate and partner with us in our work to share God’s love with orphans and people in disabilities in Uganda by purchasing the book today at Amazon, through your local bookstore, or by requesting it at your public library.
Many times on this journey I have been tempted to quit. The greatest reason I kept writing was knowing the tremendous value and potential of children like our precious daughter Ruth–children the world often overlooks. As the writer of I Corinthians says, “Love never gives up.”
Please share our journey with those you know on social media by sharing an image from the book and a link to Amazon. All personal proceeds benefit those in Uganda still waiting to know they are loved.
From my heart to yours, Thank You!
And if you are in town, please join our family in a book launch celebration on Wednesday, May 3rd, from 5-7:30 p.m. in the Community Room of The Patten Free Library in Bath, Maine. We will have books, music, food, readings, and great joy as we celebrate the end of one journey and the beginning of the next. Readings at 5:30 and 6:30. ASL available from 5:30-6:30. Guests welcome! This event sponsored by our family.
